Mezco One:12 Collective Solomon Grundy Action Figure

Solomon Grundy, Born on a Monday...

ESTIMATED TO ARRIVE IN FEBRUARY 2027

Straight out of Slaughter Swamp and ready to cause some serious trouble, Solomon Grundy joins Mezco's One:12 Collective, bringing his massive size, undead appearance, and brute strength to the 1:12 scale.

This isn't your average DC villain. Grundy is a towering, nearly unstoppable force, and Mezco captures that perfectly with a bulky, highly articulated body, distressed clothing, and three interchangeable head portraits that look like he's having a pretty bad day.

If you've been looking for a villain who can physically tower over your Batman and other DC figures, Grundy is definitely going to make his presence known.

A Monster That Commands the Shelf

Standing approximately 7.87 inches tall, Solomon Grundy is noticeably larger than your typical One:12 Collective figure, which is exactly how he should be.

His oversized proportions give him that intimidating presence collectors expect from the character, while over 32 points of articulation allow for a surprising range of poses.

Mezco also includes three interchangeable head portraits featuring snarling, angry, and frowning expressions. Whether he's preparing to crush Batman or just standing there looking miserable, there's a portrait to match.

And honestly, with a figure this size, sometimes a simple standing pose is all you need.

Straight Out of Slaughter Swamp

One of the things we appreciate about this release is the attention given to Grundy's weathered appearance.

His distressed jacket, tattered shirt, weathered pants, and worn boots help capture the look of a character who's spent more than a few years buried in a swamp.

The aged finish and hand-painted detailing add to that undead appearance, giving Grundy a rough, gritty look that works particularly well alongside Mezco's more grounded DC figures.

It's the kind of figure that looks like it belongs in a dark Gotham alley or a swamp-themed diorama.

Sometimes You Just Need a Tree Trunk

Grundy isn't exactly known for carrying around a complicated arsenal.

Instead, Mezco includes one massive tree trunk that he can wield as a weapon, which feels pretty appropriate for a character who relies almost entirely on brute strength.

He also comes with three pairs of interchangeable hands, including fists, posing hands, and gripping hands for holding the tree trunk.

It's a smaller accessory selection compared to some other One:12 Collective releases, but for Solomon Grundy, the character's size and sculpt are really the main attraction.

For Collectors & Customizers

If you're building out a DC Comics collection, Solomon Grundy adds something that many displays are missing: a genuinely oversized villain.

His height and bulky proportions make him a great opponent for Batman and other One:12 Collective heroes, especially if you enjoy creating action scenes or photographing your figures.

For customizers, the distressed clothing and oversized body are also worth a closer look. The weathered outfit offers some interesting inspiration for post-apocalyptic, horror, or other large-scale custom characters.

And if you're someone who enjoys building dioramas, Grundy practically begs for a dark, swamp-inspired display.

Whether you're keeping him stock or incorporating him into a larger custom scene, this is one figure that's going to be difficult to overlook.
